Every day somewhere in the city there are concerts, events, lectures and workshops that don't require tickets or fees. People meet and do things together without the involvement of money. Did you ever wonder if it would be possible to collect all that information and display it for everyone to see? Would it be possible to see a list of all free events, happenings and other possibilities to access and share culture and entertainment for free?

I try to make this information available as an easy-to-use, online calendar. You can browse it by week, month or as a list that shows you all the nearest, upcoming items or simply add it to your own computer calendar in iCal format. You can also print the calendar and paste it at the next free event so that people without access to internet can also see it.

Despite the fact that at the moment all the information is submitted by visitors of the website a lot of work is involved because of the poor technical solutions used. Every piece of information submitted to the calendar arrives at my inbox and I have to input it manually. Hence when I'm not online or traveling or busy nothing happens on the web.

More and more people use the calendar so I'm preparing an update of the web that would allow people to add event information themselves, create their own user accounts, create profiles for places offering free events, comment places and events, share info, etc... 

I hope to find either a programmer to help or money to pay someone to finish off the new version of the website. I have created a basis using Joomla with EventList component but I lack the fine tune it and make it fully functional.
